Does believing in Jesus guarantee you entrance to heaven? Or can unrepentant sins get you sent to hell anyway?

What if the sin they are guilty of is so common in society, and so prominent in their lives, that they refuse to acknowledge it as being sinful, yet they believe whole heartedly in Jesus and love him or what not…

Will this person’s sin be forgotten on Judgment day even though they were in denial about it the whole time? Will they go to heaven no questions asked?
