Do Christians like to be drunk?
It’s not a secret that the vast majority of true Christians like to be drunk. And at the same time many of them teach us that drunkenness is a terrible sin which is going to be punished by God. In other words these guys are used to blaspheming. I can explain why I think so. The matter is that every time we preach something positive but do opposite things we deal with blaspheme. I really feel sorry for all Christians because of this.
By the way, there’s one curious fact. The matter is that the Bible never tells us directly that being drunk is something wrong and sinful for true Christians. But at the same time we can get certain hints there indicating the morally wrong nature of being drunk. For instance we are aware of the fact that a drunk person can’t behave in the right way. Humans can’t be wise when being drunk. Certainly this fact can’t be denied by anybody because almost every day we can have an excellent opportunity to see the evidence of such a shameful peculiarity of our human nature. To my great regret even true Christians are able to do a great number of sinful things when being drunk. Drunk Christians can also insult people even if they are their relatives, friends and so on. Drunk Christians can also be involved into sexual harassment. It’s because they are unable control themselves. Whisky and other alcohol drinks make them crazy as any other people living on the Earth. So exactly because of this the Bibles gives us hints to avoid being drunk. The main danger of drunkenness is that people can easily spoil their health. Furthermore you can easily lose your family, your sweet part, friends and so on if aren’t going to give it up right now. And in this case it doesn’t matter whether you attend the nearest church, sing psalms or not. The main thing is that you are experiencing a big sin and you like it. Other nuances aren’t of great importance in this case certainly.
In fact we can drink some wine. But at the same time we our drinking shouldn’t be excessive. By the way Pharisees though that we’d better go to the heaven by doing good for our flesh. It goes without saying that we can’t follow their example because it’s morally wrong. We should stick to conservative views in this case. I mean the Bible of course. It’s very dangerous for human to lose the sense of measure. Christians should be those God’s creatures who are aware of this sense of measure more than anybody in the world. I hope you’ve understood my attitude to drunkenness. Just be a true Christian and you won’t be misled by anybody.
